Second Home
It’s in my new home where I learned, About psychology and its concern.
It’s in my new home where I learned,
About psychology and its concern.
The arts, history, science, and communication,
Most of all, the “I belong here!” realization.
This home has its own secret garden.
I love the trees' shade and birds’ humming.
Creating an atmosphere that eliminates my burden,
The warmth I felt made it captivating.
Personally, I gained friends at this home.
New siblings to be with and not feel alone.
We shared stories of our various subjects.
And ate pancakes that satisfied our palates.
My new siblings and I met many mentors.
Who shared their knowledge through selfless labor.
We considered them our second parents.
Grateful for their guidance to be better students.
My second home shaped me to be excellent.
To be disciplined and to be benevolent.
My love abounds the knowledge I take in,
Above all, the wisdom that comes from Him.
